The Crook and Chase show filming at the Willie Nelson and Friends General Store and Museum

The Willie Nelson and Friends General Store & Museum was happy to host the recent filming of the Crook and Chase show. Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase, along with their film crew, were a joy to work with and we all had a lot of fun. Many of our customers were lucky enough to be in Nashville and the store during the taping and had a lot of great photo opportunities.

There's a lot of preparation that goes into taping and producing a show like Crook and Chase. But, they've been doing it for over 25 years and have become very good at it. The show they taped at the Museum and gift shop features a superstar line-up for the upcoming Crook & Chase show! Lorianne and Charlie come to you from various spots within the Willie Nelson & Friends Museum and the show also includes a super medley of hits from Willie himself.

On the show, Willie's friend Tanya Tucker describes a fascinating comparison between her early career as a teen star and the careers of today's young stars. You'll also see a tribute to the life and music of Charley Pride, and hot new trio Lady Antebellum explains what it's like sharing the stage with country's superstars.

Lorianne and Charlie will also show you around Willie's general store and museum where you'll see memorabilia from the movies he's starred in, and exclusive displays such as the watch Patsy Cline was wearing which stopped the moment she lost her life in the plane crash.

On the lighter side, you'll see Willie's paycheck from his very first Grand Ole Opry appearance....eleven dollars and seventy one cents!
