Martin's cousin, Sigma...

We sold our 12yr old son's 4wheeler to to buy him decent acoustic guitar. We couldn't afford a Martin, and knowing nothin' about guitars, I felt we were lucky to to get him a similar example. It's a Sigma that had not been out of it's case in fifteen years. Our son has taken to it faster and better than we could have hoped. With in a few short weeks we put a video of him on youtube singing Wagonwheel. This morning I was outside and heard a crash from in the house. When I came in, he was crying to his mother, because the crash was from his strap breaking. It was a "rig" I made with a cord and a button to go on the head of the neck. He didn't want to have a second button put on because he was afraid they could mess up the wood if they put one on. I told him it's OK, we can get it fixed. He was really upset. So I thought a picture of Trigger may help him feel better. Before I could pull up a picture he said, I know what Willie Nelson's guitar looks like, dad. He pointed out that Willie's guitar had a hole from picking, not a cracked corner from dropping it. That was about an hour ago and he's now convinced we can get it repaired, but there is still some sniffleing. It's not a 69 Martin, but I have the feeling it will be named by it's best friend... I know this is not why this box is here. But our son loves his acoustic so much, I felt it is somewhat relative to Willie and Trigger.
