We’re a Nashville tradition begun over 30 years ago. We opened our original store on July the 4th in 1979. We began as a small picture frame shop that Willie Nelson frequented often when he lived in nearby Ridgetop, TN. As a result of the friendship developed with Willie during that time we started carrying some of his personal items and memorabilia.

Then when he was honored with country music’s highest honor, the “Entertainer of the Year” award in October of 1979 things really changed…more people came to see Willie’s items than those wanting picture framing and as the saying goes, “the rest is history”. Here’s what we can offer your guests during your tours in Nashville. Our museum and gift shop has over 10,000 square feet of Nashville music history and one-stop souvenir shopping. And, if you provide motor coach tours for disabled or tours for handicap people you'll be glad to know our entire facility is very handicap friendly and accessible.

About the Willie Nelson and Friends Museum

One of the largest displays in the world of personal items from Willie and his many friends. Our mission is highlighting the stars who built the country music industry and preserving the history and roots of traditional country music!

In addition to Willie Nelson, the Willie Nelson Museum displays honor the likes of Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Porter Wagoner, Faron Young, Dolly Parton, the Wilburn Brothers, Webb Pierce, Mel Tillis, Jeannie Sealy, Marty Stuart, Connie Smith and many, many others.
