what happened to buttermilk...

(hartford michigan)
i used to watch green valley jamboree in the 50's with rem wahl...his son makes heritage guitars in kalamazoo michigan...i was a pianist then trumpeter before starting guitar in 1970....i was a poet in college(minored in english) and had 4 years of spanish in high school and college....i have written some of my best songs while training horses in alabama and texas and montana; i was not too far away one night in a honky tonk from a guy they said taught willie to play guitar(paul buskirk; in willie's autobiography he talked about songwriting..."if you like it when you write it someone else will like it too...i had that happen when playing (i would drag out some ol' one i wrote that i thought wasn't a hit for the ages and someone would come up afterwards and say "that song spoke to me, thank you"....that is worth more gold than there is in california in the banks in beverly hills in someone else's name(a little plagiary there; i named my guitar "buttermilk" in honor of dale evan's horse....just because i quit drinking and drink buttermilk, that is why people think i named it that, but it is really cause i loved that old buckskin she rode.....the first foal on my farm was a palomino that looked like trigger....i was so proud i cried like a baby...that mare and stud had six identical palominos!!! michael e dillon(alias" corey steele)
